Boa Vista Holidays – Boa Vista is the easternmost island of the ten Cape Verde Islands. The white sand dunes and beaches are wonderful to relax, but also for an active holiday very suitable. You could opt to go wreck diving to 16th-century shipwrecks in the Atlantic Ocean, or use the trade winds for windsurfing. Mountain biking or hiking are fun ways to explore the island.
Boa Vista has some really good accommodations, like Praia de Salines, in the capital Sal Rei. The three- and four-star hotels are ideally situated directly on the beach and center of the island, making the beach and the center of Sal Rei or Praia de Salines, within walking distance.
Sal Holidays – North of Boa Vista, lies the Island Sal. A holiday at this Cape Verdean island is not only worthwhile because of the fine sandy beach of Santa Maria, the island also has special capabilities for diving. Because Sal was originally volcanic, many underwater volcanic cliffs and caves were formed. The underwater world of Sal is also very varied and colorful. If you want to get the best view of Sal, you must go to the capital Espargos. About four kilometers from there is Buracona, a promontory surrounded by palm trees. Another attraction are the salt mines located in volcanic craters.
